Analytics DB sync
You can find the Analytics DB connection details in the BioT Console portal by clicking the gear icon in the top-right corner and selecting “Analytics DB”.
This will display the connection status and details for the Analytics DB.

The connection status can be one of the following:
- Inactive: You will be unable to access any data when the Analytics DB is “Inactive.”
- Initializing: When you press “Start Sync,” the status will change to “Initializing.” This phase may take several hours, depending on the size of the data and the number of observations.
- Active, sync off: In this state, you can access the current data stored in the Analytics DB. However, new data recorded from devices will not be available, and any changes to the entities will not be reflected.
- Active, sync on: When the status is “Active” with “sync on,” the Analytics DB is fully operational. However, when modify or add any templates, a warning will appear, indicating that the Analytics DB sync will be stopped.
To work with the Analytics DB, the status must be “Active.”
Synchronization Notice
It can take up to 15 minutes to Grafana to synchronize after Analytics DB finished initializing.
